The Rock melon, also known as cantaloupe, is a type of fruit that offers a delightful combination of sweetness and juiciness. Rock melon has a fruit that weighs 3 to 5 kg on average. One of the characteristics of rock melon is its very long shelf life after harvesting, and this issue has provided the basis for the export of this variety to other countries, including Arab countries, in recent years.

Storage Conditions: Melon should not be stored in the same place with vegetables with a strong smell or fruits that produce ethylene. For early ripening melon varieties, a suitable temperature between 0 and 6 degrees Celsius is recommended, and for medium and late ripening varieties, between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity of the air should be between 85 and 90 percent. Air circulation for each ton of fruit should be between 40 and 50 cubic meters per hour.
