The main export markets for Iranian cabbages are Russia and the countries on the southern coasts of the Persian Gulf. Iran, known for its diverse agricultural products, is a significant player in the international cabbage market, Dezful, Fars, Varamin, Qasr Shirin, Karaj, Shahr Ray, Bushehr and Gorgan have the highest amount of Cabbage production in Iran.

Storage Conditions: Cabbage should be kept at zero degrees Celsius. The relative humidity should be between 90 and 95%. Air circulation during storage and transportation should be between 0.25 and 0.40 meters per second. Also, keeping cabbages near products that produce ethylene (such as apple trees) should be avoided because it may affect the quality of the cabbages and cause cracks in the heads of the cabbages and yellowing and separation of the leaves.
