Red cabbage is one of the vegetables that is widely exported to neighboring countries and the Persian Gulf, including the UAE, Iraq, Russia, etc. Dezful, Fars, Varamin, Qasr Shirin, Karaj, Shahr Ray, Bushehr and Gorgan have the highest amount of red cabbage production in Iran. Iran continues to be a significant exporter of cabbages. With its strategic location and fertile lands, Iran has the potential to further expand its cabbage export market.

Storage Conditions: Red Cabbage should be kept at zero degrees Celsius. The relative humidity should be between 90 and 95%. Air circulation during storage and transportation should be between 0.25 and 0.40 meters per second. Also, keeping Red Cabbage near products that produce ethylene (such as apple trees) should be avoided because it may affect the quality of the Red Cabbage and cause cracks in the heads of the Red Cabbage and yellowing and separation of the leaves.
