Dried Pear is a product obtained by processing the healthy and ripe fruits of the pear tree with the scientific name Pyrus Communis from the Rosaceae family. To produce dried pears, the processes of washing, seeding, cutting and drying, even fine manufacturing operations are carried out. Dried pears can be obtained in two ways, sun dried or industrial, and can be supplied in different shapes, or cut into halves, slices, and pieces.

For dried pears with a maximum thickness of 10 mm, the moisture content should be a maximum of 12%.

For dried pears with pieces thicker than 10 mm, the moisture content should be at most 20%.

If the moisture content of dried pears is maximum 12%, the amount of sulfur dioxide should not be more than 300 mg/kg.

If the moisture content of dried pears is 20% maximum, the amount of sulfur dioxide should not be more than 1000 mg/kg.

Storage Conditions: Dried Pear should be stored in a dry and cool place. The suitable storage temperature for storing Dried Pear is between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius. If stored in proper conditions, it can be stored for 12 months.
