Dried Onion is a product obtained from the healthy onion of the Allium cepa plant from the Linnaeus family after washing, cutting, decoloring, precooking and drying. To produce Dried Onion, the processes of washing, seeding, cutting and drying, under good manufacturing operations are carried out. Dried Onion can be obtained in two ways, sun dried or industrial, and can be supplied in different shapes, or cut into halves, slices, and pieces.
