Alıç suyu oldukça lezzetli ve hoş bir tada sahiptir çünkü alıç turşusunun bir kısmı alınmıştır. Ülkemizde, alıç üretiminin en büyük kısmı Güney Horasan ilindeki Qayinat şehrinde yapılmaktadır. Alıç suyunun ekşi tadını sevmeyenler alıç şurubunu tercih edebilir.
