Kurutulmuş Jujube
08109030Bilimsel adı Ziziphus Jujuba Mill olan jujube, Rhamnaceae familyasına aittir. Jujube, İran'da ticari olarak yetiştirilir. Jujube meyvesi besin açısından zengindir ve yüksek tıbbi değere sahiptir ve genellikle üç şekilde tüketilir: taze, kurutulmuş ve işlenmiş. İran'da jujube yetiştiriciliğinin tarihi 2000 yıldan fazladır ve bunun için birçok tıbbi ve geleneksel kullanımdan bahsedilmiştir. Şu anda İran'da yaklaşık 4.000 hektar ardıç bahçesi bulunmaktadır ve bunların 3.400 hektarı Güney Horasan eyaletindedir.
