08041010Sayer Dates also known as Stamaran dates the ripe fruit of the date palm with the scientific name Phoenix Dactylifera are from the Palmaceae family. This type of date is oval and slightly elongated and usually brown in color. Sayer date is one of the most important export date varieties of Iran. The most customers of other dates for export of our country are European, Russia, North America, New Zealand and Arab countries. The high-quality type of Sayer date is grown and harvested in Khuzestan. And it includes about 70% of Khuzestan province and it is except for semi-dry dates with less than 18% humidity, and this has made it have better and longer storage conditions than other dates. The harvest season for Sayer dates typically spans from early September to the beginning of October. Their rich flavor, coupled with their ability to withstand extended storage, has led to significant exports, particularly to European markets.
