Rabbi Dates
08041090Rabbi Dates, the ripe fruit of the date palm tree with the scientific name Phoenix Dactylifera cv. Rabbi belongs to the Palmaceae family. This type of date is elongated and usually dark brown, tending to black. Rabbi Dates are known as one of the main types of export dates in Iran. Rabbi Dates are large and fleshy and are considered semi-dry dates. The core of this date is small compared to its flesh. Its skin is shiny and thin and is attached to the fruit in the form of regular wrinkles along the length of the date. Rabbi Dates are mostly grown and harvested in Sistan and Baluchistan province. Due to their low moisture content, they can be stored for extended periods. Rabbi dates are prized for their sweet flavor and are often enjoyed fresh or dried. Their versatility makes them a popular choice for both culinary creations and snacking. Whether enjoyed fresh or dried, Rabbi dates evoke the warmth of the sun-kissed palm groves where they thrive.
