Bu fıstık türü, büyük ve fındık şeklinde olduğu için popülerdir. Soğuğa, su ve besin eksikliğine karşı hassastır ve Eylül ayında hasat edilir. Kale Ghouchi Antep Fıstığı erken çiçek açar, bu nedenle ilkbahar mevsiminde soğuk havaya ve bu durumun neden olduğu hasarlara daha fazla maruz kalır.
