ChamomileChamomile, dried flowering plant Chamomilla officinalis c.koch, ch.vulgaris Gray matricaria chamoimilla. L belongs to the family of composite flowers Compositae. This one-year plant is very fragrant with a height of 20 to 40 cm. Its stems have branches, each leading to capitols of 1.5 to 2 cm in size. Its leaves have narrow and long cuts with a leaflet-like appearance. Each capitol has two types of flowers, one with a white tongue and the other with a yellow tube. The tabular flowers that are located in the margin of the capitol, after fully blooming, are bent downwards in a way that gives the general appearance of an open or half-open umbrella to the capitol. Chamomile fruits are very small, these flowering branches contain tannin essence, flavonoids, coumarins. Its essential oil has a substance called Azulene, which gives the essential oil a blue color, and gradually turns green to brown under the effect of air and light.
Reminder: There is another chamomile from the Anthemis nobilis plant of the same family, which contains an essential oil that is blue in color due to the presence of chamazulene, and gradually turns green and then yellow to brown. This essential oil has a strong, pleasant, aromatic smell and a burning taste, and it contains angelic and taclic esters.

SumacSumac powder is the powder of the sour fruit of the sumac plant with the scientific name Rhus Coriaria from the Anacardiaceae family, which has been passed through a sieve with 2 mm springs. The sumac plant is a small shrub with a height of 1 to 5 meters and has compound leaves of 9 to 10 seeded leaflets that are covered with fluff. Its leaves turn reddish green in autumn. Safflower is a one-year or two-year-old plant, with a stem of 30 to 60 cm in height, whose leaves are serrated with teeth leading to fine thorns and sharp tips. Its flowers are generally tubular and have a reddish-yellow color and gradually turn yellow-orange.
From the tubular flowers of the capitols of this plant, a yellow substance soluble in water and another red substance soluble in alkaline water were obtained. The last color substance is called Carthamince or Carthaminc Acid and it is extracted from the tubular flowers of saffron capitols.
